This guide walks you through all the options for configuring your AI phone agent to best represent your business.

Business Information

This fundamental information helps your AI agent accurately represent your business to callers.

  • Business Name: The official name of your business that the agent will use when answering calls.
  • Business Description: A concise overview of what your business does. This helps the AI understand your business context when handling calls.
  • Website: Your business website URL that the agent can reference if callers ask.
  • Phone Number: Your primary business contact number.
  • Address: Your complete business address including street, city, state/province, postal code, and country.

Agent Configuration

Customize how your AI agent interacts with callers.

  • Initial Greeting: The first thing callers will hear when your agent answers. Make it welcoming and aligned with your brand voice.
  • AI Status Disclosure: Choose how transparent your agent should be about being an AI:
    • Never reveal that it's an AI
    • Always reveal that it's an AI
    • Only reveal if specifically asked
  • Personality: Select a personality type that best represents your brand's communication style.

Spam/Solicitation Filtering

Control how your agent handles unwanted calls.

  • Automatically reject spam calls: When enabled, your agent will politely end calls that appear to be spam or solicitations. When disabled, it will collect information to pass on to you.

Message Questions

When your agent takes a message, it will ask callers for this information.

  • Your agent comes with default questions (marked as "Default") that cannot be removed.
  • Add custom questions specific to your business needs using the "Add Message Question" form.
  • Remove custom questions by clicking the delete icon next to them.

Examples of useful message questions include:

  • Company name
  • Order number
  • Best time to call back
  • How they heard about your business

Core Services

List the key services your business offers to help the AI better understand and communicate your business offerings.

  • Your agent may include default services (marked as "Default") that cannot be removed.
  • Add your specific services using the "Add Core Service" form.
  • Remove custom services by clicking the delete icon next to them.

Be specific with your service names to help the AI provide accurate information to callers.

Opening Hours

Set your business hours so the AI can correctly inform callers when you're open.

  • For each day of the week, set your opening and closing times.
  • Check the "Closed" box for days when your business is not open.
  • All times should be entered in your local business time zone.
  • Click "Save All Hours" to update your schedule.

Frequently Asked Questions

Add common questions and answers to help your AI provide accurate information to callers.

  • Think about the questions your customers ask most often.
  • Provide clear, concise answers that your agent can relay to callers.
  • Add new FAQs using the "Add Frequently Asked Question" form.
  • Remove FAQs by clicking the delete icon next to them.

  • Do you offer delivery services?
  • What payment methods do you accept?
